here are a few icons I have done in my spare time. I hope you like them and find the download time worthwhile.
I don’t expect anybody to pay for them, but if you think they are worth a donation to the Ian Burt phone bill appeal, feel free :-)
Seriously, I would appreciate any feedback good or bad, just so I can evaluate whether it is worth doing any more. All e-mail is answered eventually. I am on the sick list right now and have a lot of spare time.
The icons have been archived using Alessandro Levi Montalcini’s excellent Icon Archiver, now available at all the usual download sites, such as Info-Mac, Ziffnet, AOL, and of course from his own FTP sites:
To de-archive the icons just drop the icon file onto the Dearchiver application, which I have provided, and they will instantly become a folder containing 60 other folders with my artwork on.
Dearchiver is a freeware part of Alessandro’s IconArchiver bundle and may be distributed to your friends etc.
If you are running a system which does not support drag and drop (?) you will have to double-click the application and open the archive using the Open command in the File Menu. Or you can of course do a copy/paste using Get Info. But it isn’t my job to tell you how to do things, unless you *do* need a Mac tutor and live in the UK, in which case, bell me and we’ll work something out.
Why go to all this trouble? you may say. Well Alessandro’s IconArchiver compresses icon files even more than Stuffit can in my experience. And it even collects icons you would normally never see.
